“The best way to have a good idea is to have lots of ideas.”

Three in one

SPAN, a leader in the croatian ICT sector, has recently launched an excellent online backup service called Digitalni Trezor (The Digital Vault) and has contracted us to come up with a solution that will sell the service in the regional market. What we did was build the site digitalnitrezor.net. It’s all us – the idea, visual design, renders in After Effects, programming, coding, even the copy on the site… really the whole shebang! And, obviously, we too are using the service and would recommend it to anyone and everyone. If the site language is no barrier, go claim your free trial.

So… are you into Big Brother? We’ve done this years’ site as well, as RTL television continued their vote of confidence in us. We’re glad that this year we could use bigger videos that are also of better quality. The most prominent feature this year is the gallery, but there’s a twist: the classic categories were completely replaced with tags, and the site now allows visitors to form their own galleries — say, marko+monika+sleeping. Who would have thought that those often marginalized tags could actually serve as a basis for navigation? See, that’s the thing – we always come up with something to donkey around with, even when the specs are clear :)

The next big thing on this menu is the webiste for a new TV show. It’s called Punom Parom (Full Steam [ahead]) and it’s a sort of reality show where five people compete by cooking at a restaurant for a week, each day a different kind of dish, for which they get graded. Well, we’ve built a site for the show that serves daily updates right after air time, with all the lowdown on the grades, recipes, restaurants, staff and all the competitors. There’s also an online application form for all those wishing they could participate. In case anyone was wondering – no, we haven’t been doing this site right after watching The Incredible Hulk.

An olympic portal

22.08.2008

Just a telegraphic piece of news that we’ve put together olimpijada08.com for T-portal. It was launched a week before the Olympics started, but we never made an announcement here. Whew, that was close – the games will be over in a matter of days (we’re blaming everything on summer!).

Web Burza Blog

02.07.2008

Wait a minute – a blog? How is that… there have been no news or announcements here for months under the excuse of working too hard, and then all of a sudden there’s time for blogging? Welllll…. it’s not all black and white. This blog of ours has been in the plans for a long time. Before we put it together, there were always ideas for quality posts. And then after we’ve sat down, drawn it and cut it up (it’s a Wordpress customization) we kind of let it sit idle and collect dust. No more, though. We decided to shove it out and start writing. Luckily, we had a perfect motive for the first post – we got new business cards. And best of all, we can now talk to you guys! We can’t wait to see your comments on our posts!

Toyota Center Zagreb

01.07.2008

“Today, Tomorrow, Toyota” is a suggestive tagline for the website of Toyota Center Zagreb, a specialized car dealership in Croatia. Aside from showcasing all the Toyota models available on this market and services that TCZ has in offer, the site also features used car classifieds (and not just Toyota’s own models at that). In order not to make searching for your dream car tedious, we’ve made this one a live search. Just type away what kind of car you’re looking for and see if its available (if it’s not today, maybe it will be tomorrow).
